They have a vegan menu as well as the regular menu. And if people are allergic to things, they can also adjust for that”, says Jean. The chefs work diligently and are well-versed in accommodating different dietary needs and preferences so that every resident can enjoy their meals without any worries.

Both restaurants provide dine-in, take-out and delivery options, ensuring convenience for every resident. Whether they wish to dine out or eat from the comfort of their own home, menus are regularly rotated, including seasonal dishes, and specials to ensure an abundance of choices. “They rotate probably every two to three weeks, so it’s always a different special, and they give us a full menu of other items… so we have a lot of choices” comments Jean.

Maintenance Free Living

Leave your worries behind! Dallas Retirement Village is a maintenance-free community. For Jean, it is extremely important to have a maintenance-free home. “They are very responsive. They just show up almost immediately when you have a situation.” Dallas Retirement Village offers superb service when it comes to our residents’ home maintenance needs. “When it got really cold, it was freezing at night. I was just thanking God that I didn’t have to go wrap pipes and make sure that things didn’t freeze like I did when I had my house. I don’t have to worry about changing light bulbs, appliances breaking down – it’s just all taken care of for us.” boasts Jean. Here, there is no need to stress about keeping up with lawn care or home maintenance – we take care of it ALL, providing residents the opportunity to focus on their well-being and on the things they love doing most.
