Nursing Assistant Training Program
Dallas Retirement Village is once again offering a Nursing Assistant Training Program; taught by our very own RN Carole Nice.

Due to the Coronavirus crisis the nursing assistant class has gone through some changes. The previously published schedule is no longer valid. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please note, the new schedule below is subject to change as related to the protocols of the pandemic.
Here is what you need to know:
Free – except OSBN certification test and state fingerprint fees which the student pays.
Textbook and workbook provided.

Interview with teaching RN, background check will be performed
Letters of Reference – two (2) submitted at time of interview
Classes are ongoing throughout the year. Date of next class can be obtained by calling 503-623-5581 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Before classes begin, an orientation day will be held. Classes consist of a classroom component and a clinical component and will last approximately 8 weeks from the start of class to graduation.
Classroom phase: Monday thru Thursday 8:00AM to 3:00PM
Clinical phase: Monday thru Thursday 6:00AM to 2:15PM

The Dallas Retirement Village scholarship program is designed to encourage employees and young adults in the community to continue their education to enhance their professional development. The committee will annually reward scholarships to Dallas Retirement Village employee(s) and Polk County graduating High School student(s) based on our scholarship funding.
